- I'm a bassist/producer from Detroit. The late Dr. Teddy Harris Jr. introduced me to jazz. I first studied with Rodney Whitaker and later with Stuart Sankey at the University of Michigan. I have been fortunate enough to play with some truly outstanding musicians. I've played with Antonio Hart, the late great Elvin Jones, Stefon Harris,Eric Reed,Kenny Werner, Helen Sung,Donald Harrison, Wayne Escoffrey, Randy Napoleon, Jeannie Bryson, Johnathan Blake, J.D. Allen, Sean Jones,Hector Martignon, Ernest Ranglin, Carl Craig, Mark Whitfield, Marcus Belgrave,Donald Walden, Louis Hayes, Betty Carter, Craig Taborn, Brad Leali, Wendell Harrison, Winard Harper and Marcus Strickland among others. I basically just want to network and meet some cool people on this site. I currently tour and record with the great guitar master Russell Malone. I look forward to the Blowout Lounge experience.
